Are you sick, sad or stuck?

No one actively asks for sickness, stuckness or sadness HOWEVER there is a goal in there that you DO WANT – that you probably are not aware of – and sickness, sadness, stuckness is the means to THAT goal.

For example: You are afraid of criticism, afraid of being rejected, you want people to like you, you want attention, you want to be loved or liked, you don’t want to be criticized or bullied or ridiculed. You don’t want people to see that you really don’t know what you are doing. You don’t want to go to work. You don’t want to be in a relationship. You are afraid of moving forward. You want to be left alone. You want to relax. You want to stay home. You want people to take care of you. The list goes on and on. You want to hold up your image and not do anything that will crack that image.

THIS is what people want – THIS IS THE GOAL – and sickness, stuckness and sadness are the means to achieve THOSE GOALS. So many people are just deeply terrified to be seen or heard, deeply terrified of being alone, deeply afraid of taking risks – it’s safer to stay where you are – in sickness and stuckness. Almost no one sees this. It’s easier to blame other people, easier to blame the weather, easier to blame the body. Easier (and safer!) to stay limited and small. Easier to compare yourself to others, feel pissed off, feel judged. This way everyone leaves you alone and you can slide through life. But if you’re done with that, ask yourself if you are ready to show up in life, take risks, do what you always wanted to do …. and actually change.

This path is not for the faint of heart. It takes total responsibility and courage to get clear on what you REALLY want and then to go for it. Otherwise, you’ll just continue to think things are happening to you that have nothing to do with your decision. You are literally doing it to yourself. This is the kindest thing I can say. You don’t have to stay sick, stuck or sad. I love you.

Love,

Lisa
