It takes great learning to know that EVERYTHING IS GOOD. Everything that you think is bad, is good and for your good. But what we do as humans is hang around thinking something shouldn’t have happened. We try to figure out how it happened, why it happened, what does it mean, how and why we caused it, what we could have done different to avoid it. All this time spent in confusion, guilt, doubt and suffering.

In that VERY SAME SPACE you could be rejoicing and celebrating and seeing only the good. You can see it as an invitation and opportunity to WAKE UP. I used to go around quoting positive affirmations and that never really worked for me and I never really understood why until I saw this paragraph from A Course in Miracles from Chapter 11:

“The perception of goodness is not knowledge, but the denial of the opposite of goodness enables you to recognize a condition in which opposites do not exist. And this is the condition of knowledge. Without this awareness you have not met its conditions, and until you do you will not know it is yours already. You have made many ideas that you have placed between yourself and your Creator, and these beliefs are the world as you perceive”

BOOM !!!!!!!!

I used to do Law of Attraction and positive affirmations and I sometimes (often) got what I wanted, but I still wasn’t totally happy and at peace. I would get all the trinkets and toys and I would still be left thinking “I’m still not there yet.” WTF.

And then I got it, that everything I’d been seeking and searching for in the world out there is already within me – but that I was blind and deaf to it all while there were blocks of fear in my thinking. I “got it” that my whole work was to remove these blocks and obstacles to the awareness of Love’s Presence.

So today, if want happiness and healing, see what comes up in your thoughts and beliefs and physical experience as external situations that you think is not good and should not be happening. Watch the mind. Catch the thoughts. Do not let them go uncorrected. See it as what it really is: a belief, a thought, an idea in your mind – an idea that you placed between you and your Creator. These beliefs in sickness, pain, suffering, sorrow, separation are the world you perceive.

I see only good. I see only God. I see only love. <3

This is your transfiguration, the complete reversal of your old thought system that believed in fear and a world of bodies.

Come on home, little one, little child of God. This world is not your home and somewhere deep in your mind, YOU KNOW IT.

All sickness and suffering is a loud way to get your attention to this Child within you that is CRYING and SCREAMING for your attention. All your attempts to heal the body and fix the problem are ego-distractions, delay tactics so you don’t even recognize this Child – YOU – that is longing to be loved, seen, appreciated, cared for.

Healing is simple. “To love yourself is to heal yourself.” -A Course in Miracles

It’s not loving to feel guilty for being sick. It’s not loving to hate yourself. The Child – your Christ Self – is crying for attention. Love it. Love yourself. xoxoxoxoox
