We are all healers.

You may have missed it but this past week an innocent man was killed by cops and someone filmed it on their phone. He died because one of the cops put his knee on the man’s neck and the man couldn’t breathe. On the video, you see him pleading for his life and saying “I can’t breathe” and the cop doesn’t get up.

And the man died.

And now there is “rage” and “protests” and “demonstrations” and “absolute chaos” and more attacking and more violence.

The man who died – George Floyd – his skin color is black. And the cops – their skin color is white – and that’s a big part of the story and outrage.

The reason I do “the work” I do – using my mind for healing – is because over 35 years ago – when I was still a teenager, I couldn’t stand the violence, attacking each other, people divorcing each other. I couldn’t tolerate that some people had money and others had none. I couldn’t stand the suffering and the sorrow. I couldn’t stand the differences.

And I didn’t know how to change it.

During my 20’s, in the 1990’s, I did various things while I lived in New York “to change the world.”

I attended rallies and protests. I signed every petition that came my way. I joined all sorts of causes. I raised thousands of dollars to find a cure for cancer and AIDS. I ran charity races in Central Park in NYC for different organizations to end hunger, to end sickness and to raise awareness. I volunteered weekly in a place that packaged healthy meals to deliver them daily to people who were house-bound and in need. I become “a big sister” and volunteered in a high school being a mentor to girls.

I did all that – and the violence and sickness and sorrow and hunger and divorce still continued on. Despite the millions of dollars raised, they never found a cure.

I was 100% devoted – along with THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE – and they were 1000% devoted – and still … not much changed.

And so I drank. I got rip-roaring drunk at night after work just so I could numb out all the pain.

I really couldn’t stand this world. I did everything to try to be good and helpful and to be available … and it didn’t seem to make any difference at all. People continued to hate on each other, leave each other, attack one another.

Then I realized: We can’t fix these problems externally.

This is AN INSIDE JOB.

Healing must come from my mind.

I found A Course in Miracles and it told me that ALL MINDS ARE JOINED AS ONE.

It said that what happens in one mind happens in every mind.

So when I attack myself then I see attack outside of myself – because the world I think I see “out there” is only reflecting my inner state.

People are in outrage as if last week’s story is something new. It’s NOT something new. And it’s not just a color issue. it’s not just racism. People of ALL color are attacked and bullied and killed all the time. Children are abused, trafficked, sold for sex. People are hungry and starving.

Here in the States, all the government money given to help people who lost their jobs runs out by the end of July 2020 – which means a lot of people are not going to be able to afford rent. All the assistance for government programs that have been giving food to those with no money has ALREADY run out.

So – where is this article going???

I am here to say that YOU ARE A MIRACLE WORKER with the ability to heal the world with your mind – by accepting the truth.

Those cops don’t know what they are doing. They don’t know who they are.

Anyone who knows WHO THEY ARE would never harm another – because they KNOW – “this brother is my Self.”

Anyone who harms another – in words or thoughts or actions – does not who they are.

We have all been both “the attacker” and “the innocent one” at the same time. How many times have you had your own knee crushing down on your neck????? How many times have you said “I can’t breathe” and yet you still continued to attack yourself??????

We are both the attacker and the one being attacked – at the same time!!

“Forgive them Father for they know not what they do.” -Jesus

What’s the solution??

To see all this insanity and love our brother as our Self.

As miracle workers, we are here to bless everyone, knowing “this is my brother whom I love.”

There can be no exceptions in this work.

If you judge anyone, you are judging (and therefore attacking) yourself – and sickness is the result.

You can just as easily make a decision TO LOVE ALL, NO MATTER WHAT.

Remember how many times you attacked yourself and others. You didn’t know who you are or what you were doing.

When you know your Self, you don’t attack anymore.

It’s this simple.

“Healing is a decision to be one again.” -A Course in Miracles

I am one with ALL four of those cops, with the man who was killed, with all their families, with all the protestors, with everyone and everything.

As I am healed, I am not healed alone.

We are here to remember the truth for all our brothers.

And when you make this decision to stand in truth, remembering God, remembering your Self, remembering your brother as ONE WITH YOU, you will be guided about what to do, what to say, where to go.

Some people write to me and say: “So you do nothing??? You just act like nothing is happening??”

Um. No. Right now, I’m writing this message to you. Sending out a call to anyone with ears to hear to join me, as miracle workers and healers in this world – to dedicate your mind to healing by knowing the truth.

In the next second, I might be called to go somewhere or say something – and I go. I don’t block this light in me.

A Course in Miracles says about this light: I need your hands, your feet, your ears, your eyes, your life, your tongue, your voice … and most of all … I need your willingness.

So “healing work” is a willingness to collaborate with this light, which is the Love of God.

It works THROUGH YOU and AS YOU … and as miracle workers … we don’t block it.

So you never know from one moment to the next moment what you will be guided to do.

And you don’t block “the voice in you” that is guiding you.

You begin to strengthen your ability TO LISTEN and TO HEAR this voice in you.

As a healer, you are one with this voice, and you join in collaboration with this Divine Intelligence – and you are “working” with it.

And an instrument for healing, you know that peace is shining in you now – and nothing else!

You look at the great healers of the world – Martin Luther King, Jr., Nelson Mandela, Gandhi, Jesus, Buddha – they were all peaceful – and yet in their peace and presence was all the power in the universe.

And change occurred – and moved others to join in their cause for peaceful action – TO LOVE.

I don’t know where this message will land – but I’m sending it.

I love you with all my heart.

I bless you with the Love of God.

I bless everyone with the Love of God – EVERYONE – no one is left out – because this love encompasses all – even those who hate and kill and manipulate – because they just don’t know what they are doing.

They need our love, not condemnation.

Thank you for reading this.

“How holy are you who have been given the function of lighting up the world!” -A Course in Miracles

Thanks lisa for sharing that perspective-its exactly what will heal the “world”. It’s definately an inside job. So that’s how I’ve been spending my time- healing with holy spirit my own mind and attack projections, then waiting to see what guidance I get IF action is needed. Thanks for telling us the truth, soul sistah! Amen!

    Dear Lisa
Thank you for your commentary on the state of our world today. Instead of feeling helpless as this world erupts, I am moved to reconnect with our source and remember who I AM. With that love I don’t need to be helpless in the face of the world I think I see. We’re are all one.

  7. Thank you for posting this. It is an excellent description of what is happening here. Those with ears to hear will hear. There will be many that will not hear, and we must still love them… even as they are left behind in their awareness. Love and Blessings upon you.

Powerful. A reminder that we really are both the attacker and the innocent. And when we give up the judgment and accept love for ourselves and for others, we heal ourselves and others. Thank you for this.
